From a client:

"I was fortunate to meet Rosalie during a social gathering and discovered during our conversation that she does interior design. At our initial consultation, I knew right away that Rosalie was the right person to help me with my Colorado condo.

We started with a small job which gradually became a kitchen remodel along with a general "spruce up" of the entire condo.

I found Rosalie to be organized, timely and budget conscious. But most of all, I find Rosalie to have a great design sense. I think this is because she listens and has a good grasp of what her client wants and needs with thoughtful guidance to a mutually beneficial conclusion.

She was also instrumental in showing me several works of art that have enhanced our home. I would collaborate with Rosalie again on any future projects."

“Interior design allows you to combine each client’s unique physical reality with limitless creative considerations; to transform an idea into the ideal...”

With keen creative vision and an impeccable eye for detail, Rosalie Szilagyi, Allied ASID, has delighted a wide array of discerning clientele with her innate design talents. Throughout her career, she has used her artistic abilities to craft comfortable and unique living spaces that have earned her high acclaim by the design community.

Born and raised in New York City, Szilagyi has been greatly influenced by Manhattan’s refined urbanism and has derived much of her inspiration from its eclectic mix of flavors and cultures. The ability to blend a palette of limitless choices with her clients’ ideals and desires is a challenge that Szilagyi enjoys most.

Equally at ease with a number of design genres, from classic contemporary to traditional Tuscan, she skillfully fuses diverse textures and materials to provide innovative design solutions for both private residences and commercial projects. Szilagyi is also schooled in Feng Shui principles, which guide her ability to optimize balance and maximize flow in any space-planning project.

Szilagyi often draws upon her many years in the world of high fashion, which have taken her from the United States to Europe, working for such couture lines as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Paloma Picasso and Adrienne Vittadini, among others.  After studying marketing and retail management at the prestigious New York University, she was accepted into the coveted Saks Fifth Avenue Buyer Program.

She was personally selected to help design and launch the first Polo/Ralph Lauren boutique in Munich, Germany. With that project up and running, she returned to New York to open the Adrienne Vittadini flagship store in Manhattan.
